Responsibilities
- Lead a growing team specializing in mineral processing, ensuring high-quality geometallurgical models and expert methodology guidance.
- Review and validate client-generated geometallurgical models using Kriging methods alongside internally developed models.
- Evaluate complex mine site databases, focusing on measured geometallurgical data, and identify data inconsistencies or flawed client interpretations.
- Work jointly with machine learning engineers and client-side mine planners and process engineers to refine and optimize modeling outputs.
- Support sales efforts by providing technical insights and expertise to improve client engagement and solution design.
- Establish and enforce strict audit and quality assurance protocols for client data, new data collection methods, and internal resource models.
- Ensure all ore reserve reporting complies with applicable mining regulations and disclosure standards.
- Support the development of technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior team members in metallurgy, mineral processing, and geometallurgical analysis.
