Logitech is looking for a Lead Mechatronics Engineer to lead the development of new technologies and products, focusing on sensing systems for our gamepad and simulator portfolios. You'll contribute from the conceptual product front end through development and into successful mass production.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of new technologies and products, bringing innovations to market.
- Evaluate new sensing system technologies, concepts, designs, architectures, and components based on performance, user experience, risk, and manufacturability.
- Develop prototypes to validate innovations.
- Develop sensing systems for gamepad and simulator products, including hardware, firmware, and algorithm from concept to mass production, meeting cost, schedule, experience, and sustainability targets.
- Develop tools and setups to measure or characterize various sensing solutions.
- Conduct Design Review, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Review, and Engineering Verification Test (EVT) Review.
- Perform measurements and qualification.
- Collaborate with multi-competence engineering teams in a multi-sites environment.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Robotic Engineering, Electrical and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- At least 9 years of development experience in the consumer electronics industry.
- Proficiency in the design of analog sensing systems.
- Proficiency in ARM Cortex-M series MCU architectures.
- Proficiency in peripheral interfaces (ADC, DMA, SPI, I2C, UART).
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Experience in low power design.
- Experience in OrCAD.
- Experience in Python.
- Experience in mass production.
- Experience in full-system development including hardware, firmware, and software.
- Quick learner, self-motivated, and curious with good priorities and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with high fluency in English.
- Ability to efficiently create reports and synthesis on complex cross-functional topics.
- Team player with an outspoken, open-minded, and creative personality.
- Solid exposure to a multicultural working environment.
- Good communication and personal organization skills (e.g., self-motivation and time management).
- Availability to travel.

- Experience in C# and Java.
- Experience in engineering skills: Statistical Tolerance Analysis, SPC, FMEA, GR&R, DOE, and 8D.
