Join EVERIENCE as a Lead Java / Spring Developer to spearhead technical leadership and architectural direction for a critical development team. Your role focuses on guiding the technical evolution of two core systems: an event-driven Azure platform and an internal Java/Spring Boot application, ensuring their quality, performance, and long-term health.
What You'll Do
- Pilot the technical activities of the development team.
- Design, evolve, and guarantee the overall technical coherence of the application architecture.
- Analyze technical obsolescence and propose proactive improvements.
- Oversee the realization of proofs-of-concept and guide technology choices.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
- Ensure the quality, performance, and security of all developments.
- Contribute to establishing technical standards and governance.
- Manage and mentor a team of 4 people (1 lead dev + 3 developers).
- Collaborate closely with the tester, Business Analyst, PPO, and TMA team.
- Defend technical choices effectively with internal teams and partners.
- Participate in ceremonies and processes within a SAFe framework, primarily intervening on the Build phase.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical problems.
- Master and understand Azure event-driven functionality.
What We're Looking For
- 7 to 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead.
- Excellent mastery of Java & Spring Boot.
- Very good understanding of micro-services architectures.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Azure services.
- Proven ability to debug and analyze complex processing chains.
- Ability to arbitrate conflicts and make decisive technical decisions.
- Natural leadership and a strong sense of pedagogy for mentoring.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and team-building skills.
- Analytical mind with a long-term strategic vision.
- High degree of autonomy, rigor, and a results-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience in micro-services or event-driven environments.
- Knowledge of legacy frameworks like Struts or EJB3.
- Practical experience within a SAFe methodological framework.
- Experience working with a data repository.
