Responsibilities
- Lead the complete lifecycle of the billing service, from system architecture and design through development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and develop a cross-functional team of engineers and product specialists, promoting collaboration, ownership, and high performance.
- Act as the primary product owner for the billing system, converting complex business needs into prioritized, scalable technical roadmaps.
- Ensure team-wide accountability for both product delivery and engineering outcomes.
- Partner with senior leaders in finance, sales, SAP, and external vendors to align systems and ensure compliance.
- Establish and uphold standards in API design, service architecture, security, testing, and release processes.
- Navigate technical dependencies and risks across a multi-vendor, multi-system billing ecosystem.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and career growth initiatives to build a high-performing engineering team.
- Enhance billing systems to support global expansion, including multi-currency transactions, tax rules, and regulatory requirements.
