HP IQ is hiring a Lead Hardware Design Engineer, Devices

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full electrical system design of a wearable product, covering system architecture, power management, microcontroller or system-on-chip selection, and sensor integration.
  • Lead schematic development, printed circuit board layout, bring-up, and validation using both internal teams and external collaborators.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate audio, camera, wireless connectivity, and charging subsystems into a small, energy-efficient device.
  • Apply data-driven analysis to make decisions on components, communication protocols, system bus design, and power efficiency strategies.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to early-career engineers and program managers.
