Compulsion Games is looking for a Lead Gameplay Programmer to guide our gameplay programming team. You will be instrumental in shaping player experiences within our close-knit, creative studio culture that values artistic craftsmanship and unique, handcrafted games.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a gameplay programming team of 6-8 people.
- Proactively collaborate with art, animation, realization, and design teams to develop gameplay features and systems.
- Work on proof of concepts for technical improvements.
- Debug and polish various developed features.
- Manage the team while taking personal ownership of some deliverables.
- Share knowledge within the Xbox Game Studios family alongside the Technical Director.

- Mastery of at least one game engine.
- Skilled and confident programmer using C++.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Experience working with PC and/or Console Games.
- Applicants local to Montreal and/or within Quebec province.
