About the Role
You will lead the programming team, oversee technical design and implementation, and ensure high code quality and performance across all game systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the work of the programming team
- Define and maintain coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with design and art teams to implement gameplay features
- Oversee architecture and scalability of game systems
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers
- Ensure timely delivery of programming tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools
- Participate in performance optimization and debugging
- Contribute to engine-level development and customization
- Manage technical risk across project milestones
- Work closely with production to align technical goals with project scope
- Support build pipelines and continuous integration systems
- Assist in prototyping new gameplay mechanics
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and stability
- Review code submissions and conduct technical evaluations
- Help define project requirements from a programming perspective
- Maintain documentation for systems and workflows
- Promote a culture of innovation and technical accountability
- Coordinate with external partners on technical deliverables
