Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
- Work closely with sales and business development teams to support technical solutioning, client discussions, demos, and pre-sales activities
- Translate business and client requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, sales stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to development best practices, coding standards, and DevOps processes
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud deployment strategies
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript
- Extensive AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience
- Strong backend development experience using Node.js, Java, or similar technologies
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of cloud-native application development and distributed systems
- Experience supporting technical stakeholders and working alongside sales or client-facing teams
- Experience participating in pre-sales, solution consulting, or client presentations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, telecommunications, or public sector projects
- Exposure to serverless architecture and event-driven systems
- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of DevOps and site reliability engineering practices
- AWS Certifications are considered an asset
