Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision for frontend systems in Vue.js, supporting applications deployed on more than 600 million devices each month across 25+ regions
- Design and advance a Micro Frontend Architecture to improve modularity and team autonomy
- Build and maintain modern, user-focused web apps using Vue 3, Composition API, and state management tools like Pinia or Vuex
- Develop reusable, well-tested code and scalable UI components to ensure long-term maintainability
- Drive technical decisions by authoring RFCs, leading architectural reviews, and defining frontend standards across engineering teams
- Enhance system performance, scalability, and uptime for frontend platforms
- Diagnose and resolve interface issues and debug application-level code efficiently
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of frontend engineers, including regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, career planning, and goal setting
- Coach engineers at all levels on technical skills and professional growth
- Promote a team culture rooted in ownership, psychological safety, and continuous learning
- Identify skill gaps, create growth plans, and support recognition and promotion initiatives
- Support hiring efforts through candidate interviews, technical evaluations, and team expansion
- Align team roadmaps with product and business objectives, guiding sprint planning, backlog refinement, and resource planning
- Monitor team health indicators such as velocity, code quality, on-call burden, and engagement, and take action to improve them
- Represent the frontend team to senior leadership, clearly communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs to non-technical audiences
- Coordinate with product managers, designers, backend leads, QA, and SREs to ensure cross-functional alignment
