Responsibilities
- Examine electricity, heating, and cooling usage, load profiles, tariffs, generation assets, and site infrastructure.
- Create integrated energy concepts that incorporate photovoltaic systems, battery storage, heat pumps, heating and cooling, thermal storage, electric vehicle charging, and energy management systems.
- Simulate energy flows with hourly or sub-hourly time resolution.
- Enhance asset sizing, dispatch strategies, and interactions across multiple technologies.
- Evaluate peak loads, self-consumption rates, grid constraints, flexibility options, and electrification potential.
- Construct and refine analytical and optimization models using the enshift platform, Python, and other appropriate tools.
- Perform scenario, sensitivity, and optimization analyses for complex single-site and multi-site clients.
- Question input assumptions and pinpoint the primary technical and economic drivers for each solution.
