Responsibilities
- Build and manage automated provisioning systems like PXE and ZTP to deploy bare-metal servers globally, configuring hardware, storage, services, and settings according to standards and operational needs.
- Identify and propose cutting-edge, automated solutions for streamlining system administration workflows.
- Conduct continuous security surveillance to detect and respond to potential breaches or intrusions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software failures, working closely with affected teams to restore operations.
- Regularly apply operating system updates, patches, and upgrade system administration tools and utilities.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of data center monitoring systems and environmental controls.
- Continuously optimize system performance, conduct hardware refreshes, and adjust resource allocation based on demand.
- Serve as the primary technical authority and liaison for the infrastructure team, promoting best practices and operational excellence.
- Support team growth by mentoring engineers, improving internal collaboration, and enhancing communication processes.
- Report directly to the CTO and collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to strengthen reliability, automation, monitoring, and incident response across the infrastructure.
