Responsibilities
- Lead the complete data science lifecycle for a strategic vertical, from identifying business challenges to deploying models and tracking live ROAS, with direct impact on revenue and advertising efficiency.
- Immerse deeply in data and modeling, define business problems in collaboration with stakeholders, develop and validate models, transition implementation to ML engineering partners, and remain involved through deployment, monitoring, and performance review.
- Begin with a focus on Insurance and Advertiser Quality, with increasing scope over time.
- Manage all primary modeling initiatives for the Insurance vertical from start to finish, ensuring measurable improvements in ROAS.
- Develop and deliver buying models that sustain positive ROAS and uphold quality standards.
- Enhance lead quality across brand portfolio segments—including Messaging, Funnels, and Content/Listicles—to drive measurable revenue growth.
- Build and maintain trusted, direct relationships with business stakeholders in the vertical.
- Generate reliable, well-documented outputs that require minimal corrections and are validated for accuracy.
- Discover and act on new modeling opportunities not yet identified by the business.
Compensation
Base salary aligned with market rates for the nearest major metro, determined by the company's Levels Framework; includes profit-sharing bonus and competitive benefits. Future increases tied to company and individual performance, not cost of living adjustments.

TOTAL COMPENSATION
Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Launch Potato is a performance-driven company, which means once you are hired, future increases will be based on company and personal performance, not annual cost of living adjustments.
