Responsibilities
- Act as designated Laser Safety Officer, General Safety Officer, and Infection Control Officer, fulfilling all related duties.
- Model behavior aligned with organizational mission and core values.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care, dedicating approximately half of work hours to direct patient services.
- Support daily functions in a fully accredited outpatient surgical facility.
- Focus on patient safety, positive outcomes, and efficient clinical operations.
- Help manage nurse scheduling and task assignments to maintain workflow and team morale.
- Track key performance indicators including procedure start times and room turnover speed.
- Utilize digital tools such as Zenoti and CPB to streamline processes and improve productivity.
- Protect patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and AAAHC accreditation standards.
- Lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives, including incident reporting and medical record reviews.
- Maintain current and complete documentation for AAAHC audits and inspections.
- Provide ongoing education to clinical staff on protocols, safety procedures, and infection prevention.
- Conduct and attend team meetings and training sessions; verify all staff complete required documentation.
- Promote open, respectful, and effective communication across all clinic roles.
- Take part in recruitment, selection, and orientation of new clinical hires.
- Assign experienced mentors to new staff and oversee onboarding progress.
- Function as a certified clinical mentor for professional development and skill growth.
