Responsibilities
- Upholds organizational mission and values by prioritizing patient safety, ethical conduct, continuous growth, and teamwork to foster a dynamic and supportive workplace.
- Delivers high-quality performance in both leadership and clinical duties, with time divided roughly equally between managerial and direct-care responsibilities.
- Supports daily clinical functions in an accredited outpatient surgical setting, ensuring efficient operations and consistent delivery of safe, effective patient care.
- Collaborates with management to create nurse schedules and assign roles that optimize surgical outcomes and staff satisfaction, measured by on-time starts, operating room turnover, and appointment punctuality.
- Utilizes company digital systems such as Zenoti and CPB to enhance workflow and operational effectiveness.
- Maintains strict adherence to patient privacy standards, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation of protected health information.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of organizational policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Applies knowledge of infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, transmission precautions, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Enforces compliance with AAAHC standards to uphold high levels of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Manages quality assurance and quality improvement reporting processes.
- Attends and contributes to regular clinic and corporate meetings, including training sessions and staff huddles, and ensures documentation is reviewed and signed by team members.
- Maintains current AAAHC readiness and keeps all related records accurately updated.
- Conducts patient chart reviews, including photo documentation, and provides feedback and education to clinical staff as needed.
- Serves as a mentor and example for clinical team members in patient care, policy adherence, and accreditation standards.
- Builds collaborative relationships across the center through consistent communication, shared best practices, and sound decision-making.
- Participates with management in the interview and selection process for clinical staff candidates.
- Supports onboarding of new clinicians by coordinating training schedules, assigning preceptors, and monitoring progress for successful integration.
- Completes certification as a formal training mentor to support staff development and education.
