Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments and analyze environmental conditions
- Prepare conceptual and construction drawings using design software
- Support the development of site plans and grading designs
- Assist in creating planting and irrigation plans
- Gather and interpret topographic and land use data
- Collaborate with engineers and planners on integrated projects
- Develop design alternatives based on project requirements
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in client meetings and design reviews
- Produce renderings and visualizations for presentations
- Coordinate with survey and civil engineering teams
- Assist in preparing permit applications
- Maintain project documentation and design files
- Perform calculations for earthwork and drainage
- Apply sustainable design principles to project solutions
- Support stormwater management planning
- Review contractor submittals and construction details
- Use CAD and GIS tools for mapping and analysis
- Contribute to environmental impact studies
- Stay current with industry standards and materials
- Assist in cost estimating for landscape components
