The L3 Network Engineer will manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure for VPN and Business Partner Access, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role operates in a collaborative, agile environment with a focus on DevOps principles and requires coordination with internal teams and external partners.
What You'll Do
- Managing and maintaining network infrastructure for VPN and Business Partner Access
- Overseeing VPN gateways, firewalls, load balancers, Site-to-Site tunnels
- Maintaining the request portal
- Performing monitoring, backup, and restore operations
- Performing hardware patching
- Configuring network infrastructure
- Handling 3rd level IT tickets
- Coordinating with external partners
- Driving escalation and problem management processes
- Coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers
- Providing expert resolution and support
- Preparing changes to the environment
- Maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Steering and coordinating with external partners to ensure seamless integration and support of network services
- Assisting customers with process improvements, documentation, training, and usability efforts
- Overseeing and managing VPN gateways, firewalls, maintenance of request portal, and Site-to-Site tunnels
- Conducting hardware patching and configuration of complex network infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and security
- Ensuring and performing regular monitoring, backup, and restore operations to ensure network stability and data integrity
- Maintaining detailed documentation of the Access services, including processes, procedures, and user guides
- Performing feasibility studies and IT concepts
- Conducting market research and vendor evaluations
