Responsibilities
- Cleans and scrapes dishes and utensils, then loads them into the dishwashing machine; unloads and stores items after air drying.
- Cleans and maintains dish machines, sinks, and countertops on a regular basis.
- Ensures all kitchen equipment and workspaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Properly disposes of waste in designated outdoor receptacles.
- Mops and cleans floors in the kitchen area after each meal service.
- Adheres to daily cleaning checklists and completes assigned tasks.
- Assists in clearing and cleaning dining room tables when necessary.
- Supports the receipt, inspection, and storage of food deliveries.
- Restocks hand soap and dish machine detergent as needed.
- Attends all mandatory and optional facility and team meetings.
- Follows established safety protocols to protect staff, residents, and visitors.
- Demonstrates familiarity with organizational policies and knows how to access them.
- Uses electronic timekeeping systems as instructed.
- Maintains punctual and consistent attendance according to the work schedule.
- Complies with the facility’s dress code, including wearing an identification badge at all times.
- Follows guidelines for the use of electronic devices, computers, and tablets.
- Upholds the organization’s mission, vision, and core values in daily work.
- Complies with corporate conduct, compliance, and HIPAA privacy policies.
- Completes additional tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
