ju:niz Energy is looking for a Key Account Manager - Netzbetreiber TSO/DSO (m/w/d) to act as the central interface between our company, transmission system operators (TSO), distribution system operators (DSO), and political decision-makers. You will be instrumental in building strategic relationships, anticipating regulatory developments, and playing a decisive role in bringing projects successfully online.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a strategy for cooperation with TSOs/DSOs and relevant authorities.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers and political institutions.
- Support grid connection processes and critical approval procedures—from grid compatibility studies to commissioning.
- Translate regulatory requirements into concrete actions for internal teams (Development, Delivery, Commercial, Operations).
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and build a knowledge base on grid structures and contacts.
- Contribute to positioning ju:niz Energy as a reliable partner in the energy industry, including through expert articles, media relations, and PR initiatives.
- Support the development of grid-friendly project solutions that balance technical requirements and economic viability.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in energy economics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience working with grid operators (TSO/DSO) or in energy industry/regulatory committees.
- Excellent understanding of the German and European regulatory landscape.
- Knowledge of grid connection procedures, grid compatibility assessments, and approval processes.
- Strong communication and strategic skills, confident in dealing with authorities, grid operators, and political institutions.
- Experience in stakeholder and influence management, as well as cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with diplomatic skill and negotiation confidence.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
Nice to Have
- An existing network of contacts with TSO and DSO representatives is a clear plus.
