The ​Watch Officer​ oversees and coordinates surveillance audits to maintain security integrity. RESPONSIBILITIES The ​Watch Officer is expected to be able to accomplish the following: Identifies, evaluates, and communicates violations to management. Develops tools and procedures to enhance surveillance of company property and materials. Monitors and oversees surveillance systems to ensure incidents are detected. Researches new methods and technologies to improve surveillance processes. Maintains data and monitors access. Conducts internal and external audits, and performs risk assessments. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance HS, 8-10 years of relevant experience; BS, 2-4 years; MS, 0-2 years CompTIA Security+ CE DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS CySA+ CEH GCIH CASP+ CISSP CISA CRISC Security Control Assessor training RMF training Splunk certifications Elastic certifications SIEM platform training Insider Threat training WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Location: Annapolis Junction, MD or Denver, CO Type of environment: Varies Noise level: Low Work schedule: Non-standard shift Amount of Travel: 20% PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. WAGE INFORMATION Target salary range: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
