About the Role
The individual will support the design of user-centered conversational interfaces, contributing to wireframes, user flows, and prototypes while working closely with product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows and interaction patterns for chat-based applications
- Create low and high-fidelity prototypes for testing and development
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define feature requirements
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs
- Maintain and evolve the design system for conversational interfaces
- Translate user needs into clear, effective messaging structures
- Work iteratively based on user research and product goals
- Document design decisions and rationale for team alignment
- Support accessibility and inclusivity in interface design
- Participate in design critiques and team brainstorming sessions
Nice to Have
- Previous internship or academic project in UX design
- Exposure to chatbot or messaging platform design
- Basic knowledge of front-end development concepts
- Experience designing for mobile-first interfaces
- Understanding of NLP or AI limitations in conversation design
