CHECK24 Österreich GmbH seeks a Junior Software Developer to join the CTO Taskforce for the travel sector. You will play a key role in implementing strategic IT projects and optimizing platforms, directly contributing to AI-driven travel products in a dynamic online travel business environment.

What You'll Do

Drive the implementation of crucial IT projects within the travel sector.
Independently conduct IT process optimizations across company platforms.
Contribute ideas for the further development and optimization of travel-specific IT systems such as booking platforms.
Analyze and prepare information to support the travel CTO taskforce.
Support company-wide personnel development measures like hackathons and meetups in the travel sector.
Actively participate in exchange formats at other travel locations in Germany.

What We're Looking For

An excellent university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
Good knowledge in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Golang, Java, PHP, or C#.
Good knowledge in Linux and DevOps practices.
Experience working with AI tools like Cursor and familiarity with concepts like LLM, RAG, or MCP.
High willingness to learn and motivation to constantly learn new technologies and programming languages.
Quality awareness, a hands-on mentality, enjoyment of development, teamwork, a high willingness to perform, and very good communication skills.
Negotiation-fluent German and good English skills in spoken and written form.
