NTT DATA is hiring a Junior SharePoint Solutions Engineer

As a member of the Group Information Services team, you will be responsible for the support, administration and maintenance of multiple SharePoint Sites, Site Collections on the On-Prem platform and Office 365.The role would require a knowledge of SharePoint and Office 365 functionality and supporting technologies such as SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, PowerBI, PowerApps and other SharePoint and Office 365 platforms.The position includes building of technical projects on the Dimension Data environments (Extranet, Intranet and Office 365) and applications as part of the GIS Online Systems Team. The role encompasses the full cycle of development and support and will include extensive technical activities A Junior SharePoint Solutions Engineer has the following tasks and responsibilities: •Provide second line end-user support on Office 365 workloads such as OneDrive for Business & SharePoint, other O365 services (MS Teams, Flow, PowerApps, PowerBi) & supporting technologies i.e. Avepoint,Sitecore, Confluence & Jira • Troubleshooting services offered in SharePoint & O365 applications and identifying and correcting issues and other operational difficulties • Implementation of application developments, including defined projects where assigned. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. • Design and implement SharePoint based solutions using out of the box capabilities • Work directly with the end users to gather requirements, solve problems, document business processes, manage SharePoint enhancement projects to meet business needs • Maintain current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures for SharePoint and related technologies. Qualifications • 2 to 4 years’ professional experience supporting Microsoft SharePoint (2013 & O365) – Required • Certifications in domain-specific technologies (Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint) -Preferred • Development experience with InfoPath, Workflow, PowerShell and SharePoint Designer – Preferred • Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) - Beneficial • K2 for SharePoint – Beneficial • Sitecore experience – Beneficial • Experience with AvePoint technologies - Beneficial • Knowledge of web performance, monitoring tools (Fiddler, Wireshark) - Beneficial • Experience with Confluence and Jira - Beneficial Personal Attributes and Skills Required • Team player committed to providing exceptional customer service. • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language. • Ability to conduct research into software issues and products as required. • Highly self-motivated and self-directed. • Keen attention to detail.
