Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and vehicle health checks to strict manufacturer standards
- Supporting Senior Technicians with core mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension setups, timing belts/chains, and clutches
- Learning to utilize modern diagnostic equipment to locate, trace, and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Ensuring all maintenance and repair work strictly adheres to safety compliance and right-first-time quality standards
- Maintaining accurate job cards and collaborating smoothly with service advisors and workshop controllers
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served experience)
- Hands-on mechanical experience inside a dealership, fast-fit center, or independent garage
- Eagerness to learn, strong mechanical aptitude, and pride in clean, accurate workmanship
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
