About the Role

This role involves assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives while working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines and milestones across distributed teams
  • Track progress using project management tools and reporting methods
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, product, and support functions
  • Identify and escalate project risks and dependencies early
  • Organize and lead regular project status meetings
  • Maintain documentation for project plans and deliverables
  • Support estimation and planning sessions with technical teams
  • Monitor resource allocation and task completion rates
  • Ensure adherence to established project workflows
  • Gather and analyze project performance metrics
  • Assist in refining project management processes
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives with global participants
  • Manage action item tracking and follow-up activities
  • Provide regular updates to senior project leads
  • Contribute to post-project reviews and retrospectives
  • Help onboard new team members to project frameworks
  • Coordinate release schedules with engineering teams
  • Support change management procedures during project lifecycles
  • Maintain awareness of technical project scope and goals
  • Work with time zone flexibility to support global collaboration

Nice to Have

  • Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, Scrum Master)
  • Experience managing software delivery in open-source contexts
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure or Linux-based systems
  • Prior work with distributed engineering teams
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
