Responsibilities
- Build and maintain retrieval-augmented generation systems, covering data ingestion, segmentation, embedding, retrieval, and response synthesis
- Create Python-driven services and APIs that interface with large language models
- Support the development of agent-driven workflows utilizing tool and function calling capabilities
- Work with vector databases and implement hybrid search strategies
- Help diagnose and resolve issues such as model hallucinations, retrieval inaccuracies, and output quality problems
- Produce well-structured, testable, and sustainable code
- Partner with senior developers to transition generative AI proof-of-concepts into scalable production systems
