Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure to support data engineering processes, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
- Develop and optimize automated data pipelines for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of structured and unstructured data into BigQuery
- Integrate data from various sources (APIs, databases, spreadsheets) into BigQuery and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation and quality checks
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize data workflows, proactively resolving issues to ensure continuous operation
- Document workflows, follow data regulations, and continuously improve processes by staying updated on new technologies
- Other assigned tasks
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong interest in data engineering, automation, and process improvement
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., TypesScript, Python, SQL) for data extraction, manipulation and automation
- Understanding of data management concepts, along with familiarity with data integration tools and techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce
