Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible, and programming languages including Python, .NET, PowerShell, or bash
- Background in at least two core areas of IT or cybersecurity, including but not limited to cloud security (AWS/Azure/OCI), application or API security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, sandboxing, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, SIEM, auditing, encryption, data loss prevention, SASE, zero-trust access, mobile security, or cyber resilience and recovery
- Fluency in written and spoken German (C1-C2 level) and strong English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member countries
Nice to Have
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA-Security, (ISC)², CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, AZ-900, or PCCSE are advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level applicants
- Hands-on understanding of security architecture frameworks and principles, as well as central IT services like networking or directory systems, is a plus
- Experience with enterprise architecture methodologies such as SABSA or TOGAF is considered beneficial
