About the Role
The individual in this position will support process consistency and reporting accuracy within Jira, working closely with project managers and technical teams to maintain system integrity and improve workflow transparency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain Jira project configurations to align with team needs
- Assist in defining and documenting workflow standards across departments
- Generate regular status reports using Jira data for leadership review
- Collaborate with project leads to resolve system or process discrepancies
- Support onboarding of new users to Jira with training materials
- Track and validate issue resolution timelines and milestone progress
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Jira instances
- Coordinate with IT to implement approved system updates
- Maintain documentation for all process changes and configurations
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Standardize naming conventions and project categorization
- Troubleshoot user-reported issues with guidance from technical teams
- Assist in audit preparation by ensuring traceability of project data
- Participate in process improvement initiatives across the organization
Nice to Have
- Jira Administrator certification or equivalent training
- Experience configuring workflows or screens in Jira
- Familiarity with REST APIs or automation rules
- Background in IT service management (ITSM)
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise project environments
