Responsibilities
- Design, test, and deploy slot and table games throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Coordinate daily with internal QA and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.
- Integrate visual assets, animations, and audio in Cocos Creator, with a primary focus on implementing gameplay mechanics.
- Follow direction from the Team Lead, regularly reporting progress and requesting assistance when necessary.
- Build new features while actively refining and enhancing existing game projects.
- Maintain compliance with architectural standards, functional correctness, and industry regulations.
- Support colleagues by offering technical advice and reviewing code quality.
- Monitor and document task progress using Jira for accurate project tracking.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in game development.
- In-depth expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Canvas and WebGL rendering technologies.
- Working knowledge of common software design patterns.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and MVC architecture.
- Practical experience with Cocos Creator or similar frameworks such as Pixi.js, Phaser, PlayCanvas, or Three.js.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, asynchronous programming models, dynamic typing, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks following the Model-View-Whatever pattern.
- Understanding of the latest HTML5 capabilities and features.
- Proven ability to debug and profile web applications in browser environments.
- Proficient in using Git for version control.
- English proficiency at least at an intermediate level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience developing slot games, particularly in the gambling sector.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Gulp or Webpack.
- Programming experience in languages beyond JavaScript, including ActionScript.
- Background in developing for multiple browsers and mobile web platforms.
- Exposure to WebGL shader programming.
