Iris Software is hiring a Senior Java Engineer to develop and maintain complex, mission-critical applications. This role focuses on leveraging the latest technologies across high-value domains including Application & Product Engineering, Data & Analytics, Cloud, DevOps, and Business Automation.
What You'll Do
- Design and build complex, high-performance applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs within a Micro-services architecture.
- Engineer robust data access layers using ORM frameworks like Hibernate and SQL Server.
- Implement and optimize database components, including stored procedures, triggers, and indexing.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Apply expertise in Java Multithreading for concurrent system design.
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Java, including Core Java (Java 8+).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Proven track record in RESTful API development and integration.
- Practical knowledge of Micro-services architecture.
- Experience with ORM frameworks, particularly Hibernate.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including database programming.
- Familiarity with building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with version control using Git.
