KRG Technologies is hiring a Java Developer - Kafka Experience - Dallas, TX

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java including object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and multithreading.
  • Practical experience with Spring Boot and Kafka.
  • Solid working knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Struts, and Hibernate.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Hands-on experience creating build automation scripts using Maven or Gradle.
  • Familiarity with version control systems including SVN and Git.
  • Direct database experience; Oracle is strongly preferred.
  • Implementation experience with security and authentication mechanisms; Spring Security and LDAP are preferred.
  • Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins and Rundeck.
  • Proficiency with collaboration and issue-tracking tools including JIRA and Confluence.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Java 8 features and enhancements.
  • Knowledge of AKKA, Gemfire, Jasper Reports, and WebSocket implementations.
  • Understanding of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs).
  • Familiarity with TLS 1.2 and related cryptographic APIs.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and experience using Spring Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as nodes, clustering, and load balancing.
