Responsibilities
- Carry out translation tasks using various translation platforms for designated clients and projects
- Translate diverse content including marketing materials, user interface text, help documentation, and regulated content
- Assist the team with copy-editing on specific types of content as needed
- Become proficient in standard computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and internal translation-related software, including tools for querying or reviewing live UI elements
- Strictly adhere to defined translation workflows, including submitting queries whenever clarification is required
- Follow client-specific style guides and overall requirements with high accuracy
- Incorporate feedback from senior linguists and client reviewers to improve translation quality
- Monitor personal error metrics and focus on improving identified weak areas
- Attend internal training sessions as well as client-led training programs
- Engage in the resolution process for disputed translation errors
- Achieve key performance indicators related to output volume, timeliness, and quality standards
- Join internal quality review meetings and client-organized team quality calls
- Regularly assess personal performance gaps and identify ways senior team members can support improvement
- Fulfill objectives established by the team manager
