SupportYourApp is hiring a (Italian & English, part-time) Customer Support Consultant (Global)

About the Role

Provide customer support in both Italian and English to clients across different time zones, ensuring timely and accurate responses in a remote, part-time capacity.

Languages Required

  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory
  • Ability to communicate professionally in writing and speech
  • Familiarity with common customer service terminology in both languages

Availability Expectations

  • Must be available during overlapping business hours with European and North American regions
  • Part-time commitment of 20–25 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling with advance weekly planning

Technical Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Quiet workspace free from distractions
  • Computer with up-to-date operating system and browser access

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and chat
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
  • Follow internal procedures for data privacy and security

Qualifications

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Italian and English
  • Previous experience in customer service or support roles
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Comfort with learning new software platforms

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
  • Knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting
  • Customer service experience in a global environment

Onboarding Process

  • Two-week remote onboarding program
  • Training on internal tools and workflows
  • Shadowing experienced team members
  • Performance review at end of first month

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain high accuracy in responses
  • Meet response time benchmarks
  • Adhere to service level agreements
  • Demonstrate consistent professionalism

Contract Terms

  • Independent contractor agreement
  • Monthly payment via international transfer
  • No benefits included
  • Contract renewable based on performance
