About the Role
This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT vendor relationships, including selection, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and risk management. The individual will align vendor strategies with business goals and ensure service delivery meets organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end vendor management processes for IT suppliers
- Evaluate and onboard new technology vendors in alignment with business needs
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure favorable terms
- Monitor vendor performance using defined KPIs and service metrics
- Ensure compliance with security, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with third-party engagements
- Coordinate cross-functional audits and assessments for vendor compliance
- Maintain a centralized vendor database and lifecycle tracking system
- Drive continuous improvement in vendor operations and cost efficiency
- Serve as primary point of contact for critical vendor escalations
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams on vendor agreements
- Support integration of vendor solutions into existing IT infrastructure
- Manage vendor offboarding and contract closure processes
- Track and report on vendor spend and contract renewals
- Promote standardization and best practices across vendor engagements
- Facilitate regular business review meetings with key vendors
- Ensure alignment between vendor deliverables and project timelines
- Advocate for service improvements based on performance data
- Stay current on industry trends in IT sourcing and vendor management
- Support IT strategy through data-driven vendor performance insights
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Technology Management
- Certification in vendor management, procurement, or project management
- Experience in fintech or e-commerce industry environments
- Prior work with SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or payment technology vendors
- Knowledge of ITIL or COBIT frameworks
- Experience with global vendor operations
- Background in managing SLAs for high-availability systems
- Familiarity with agile development and DevOps practices
- Track record of cost savings through vendor optimization
