Responsibilities
- Manage daily IT operations in coordination with the IT Manager, ensuring efficient task assignment, shift planning, and process efficiency.
- Guide and develop team members to promote responsibility, initiative, and teamwork.
- Help design and maintain shift schedules, standard operating procedures, and internal records.
- Take part in performance evaluations and deliver constructive input to support professional development.
- Oversee resolution of hardware, network, and system problems through structured troubleshooting and incident management.
- Maintain compliance with service level agreements and escalate urgent issues as needed.
- Monitor performance and reliability of streaming devices, encoders, dealer modules, network gear, and access points across studio locations.
- Liaise with global Network Operations Center and technical units to enable rapid issue resolution and uninterrupted service.
- Ensure consistent performance and uptime of server and network systems.
- Collaborate on initiatives to improve system resilience, backup strategies, and data security measures.
- Enforce compliance with organizational IT standards and information security protocols.
- Lead equipment audits, procurement tracking, and communication with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and ensure proper tracking of physical hardware.
- Partner with Development, Audiovisual, and Security teams on implementation, testing, and integration of new technologies.
- Support testing and deployment of new software, systems, and updates prior to live release.
- Contribute to strategic planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades and scalability projects.
