Responsibilities
- Manage and sustain IT infrastructure including mobile device management, endpoint protection, cloud platforms, and device lifecycle processes to ensure compliance and continuous performance.
- Enforce and enhance security protocols by implementing multi-factor authentication, hardening endpoints, conducting access audits, and responding to incidents per established procedures.
- Work closely with team members in Darmstadt and the Senior IT Manager to maintain seamless operation of shared systems.
- Drive automation and scripting initiatives to reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and streamline operations.
- Identify operational gaps and contribute to IT initiatives such as cloud migration, data loss prevention, endpoint detection and response deployment, and centralized device management.
- Create and maintain detailed, accessible IT documentation to support team knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Lead employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, device preparation, and access provisioning or removal in coordination with People Operations.
- Ensure all devices remain enrolled in MDM, properly tracked, and updated according to patch management schedules.
- Provide secondary end-user support, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally to reflect the high standards of the IT team.
