Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices across the organization.
- Administer Microsoft Azure services, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, conditional access policies, backup solutions, and monitoring tools.
- Oversee identity and access management using Entra-ID, Intune, and mobile device management platforms.
- Enable secure collaboration through Microsoft 365, file sharing systems, conferencing platforms, SharePoint Online, and licensing administration, including CSP/NCE transitions.
- Operate and enhance virtualization environments using Proxmox or similar hypervisors, along with containerized workloads where applicable.
- Provision, monitor, and maintain AWS resources, including EC2 instances and associated cloud infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts and access controls within Google Cloud Platform.
- Maintain secure remote connectivity via OpenVPN, bastion hosts, and jump servers, alongside core network components like switches, firewalls, VLANs, and routing.
- Ensure high availability, performance, patch compliance, and lifecycle management across cloud systems.
- Implement and test backup and disaster recovery procedures using Veeam, including retention policies and recovery validation.
- Administer self-hosted or cloud-based GitHub and GitLab instances, managing access, repositories, and system maintenance.
- Apply security-by-design practices across IT systems and support adherence to standards such as ISO 27001 and internal security policies.
- Support vulnerability identification, patch deployment, security audits, and risk evaluation processes.
- Contribute to planning, upgrading, and modernizing infrastructure systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving systems and virtualization across cloud platforms.
- Provide advanced technical support to the helpdesk and end users at Level 2 and Level 3.
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, network architectures, and standards.
- Manage procurement of IT assets—including hardware, software licenses, and cloud spending—in coordination with procurement teams, and track asset lifecycles.
- Build proficiency in Linux environments and support Linux-based applications as required.
