Responsibilities
- Manage on-premises Windows Server systems, including Active Directory, Group Policy, file sharing via SMB, Remote Desktop Services, and essential server roles
- Support and maintain specialized on-site systems such as network management, geographic information, and financial platforms
- Administer cloud services including Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Google Workspace, and Zoom
- Handle hybrid identity setups and directory synchronization using Azure AD Connect or Entra ID
- Maintain and support cloud platforms and software-as-a-service applications
- Provide second-tier technical support to European staff through the internal ticketing system
- Address escalated technical issues and service requests
- Diagnose and resolve problems on both Windows and macOS devices
- Automate system deployments and operational workflows using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
- Develop and sustain API integrations between internal systems and external platforms
- Assess and deploy emerging technologies, including AI-based automation tools
- Oversee network components such as switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Administer Cisco Meraki wireless networks
- Manage DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring across local and cloud environments
- Support data center operations including server deployment, removal, cabling, and hardware maintenance
- Operate and maintain mobile device management solutions, particularly Microsoft Intune
- Handle mobile devices, SIM cards, and telecommunications contracts
- Support enterprise security tools across infrastructure and endpoints
- Oversee patch management and remediation of system vulnerabilities
- Manage identity, access, and privileged account management systems
- Deploy and maintain endpoint protection and threat detection solutions
- Assist in compliance initiatives and respond to security incidents
- Procure IT hardware by requesting quotes and issuing purchase orders
- Track equipment deliveries and keep asset records accurate and up to date
