Responsibilities
- Install and oversee Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
- Operate and sustain OpenShift and Kubernetes (k8s) clusters in on-premises environments
- Maintain and enhance VMware virtualization platforms including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
- Conduct in-depth diagnostics for Linux operating systems, network configurations, and storage solutions
- Establish system administration processes, automate tasks using Ansible, and create custom scripts
- Work jointly with DevOps and Security teams to maintain system reliability, protection, and growth capacity
- Oversee platform lifecycle operations including updates, security patches, data backups, and recovery planning
