Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and physical infrastructure with an emphasis on long-term reliability.
- Integrate hybrid environments with systems managed by the parent organization, including Microsoft 365, JDE, and enterprise platforms.
- Carry out system updates, patch management, and performance optimization to maintain consistent system availability.
- Oversee on-premises and cloud storage systems, including file storage and Azure-based solutions.
- Track storage usage, performance metrics, and forecast capacity needs to meet current and future demands.
- Ensure data retention, archiving practices, and lifecycle management comply with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Enforce security policies, standards, and best practices in accordance with parent company governance frameworks.
- Manage user identities and access permissions using Active Directory and Entra ID to maintain secure access controls.
- Monitor for security vulnerabilities, deploy patches, and support incident response activities when required.
- Create and maintain accurate system documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures.
- Keep comprehensive logs of system configurations, access rights, and administrative changes.
- Support SOX compliance through documented control procedures, access audits, change management adherence, and audit-ready records.
- Ensure all changes in production environments are authorized, recorded, and traceable.
- Collaborate with network teams managing enterprise infrastructure to maintain network performance and reliability.
- Operate and support facility-based technology systems such as security alarms, access control, voice communications, and meeting room technology.
- Diagnose and resolve local infrastructure and connectivity issues in coordination with central IT teams.
- Plan and implement IT setups for new offices and construction sites, ensuring operational readiness.
- Deploy and configure networking hardware, end-user devices, and connectivity solutions in variable environments.
- Ensure IT systems at field locations meet operational, security, and business requirements.
- Implement and manage backup processes using tools like Veeam or Commvault.
- Develop, test, and document disaster recovery plans to support business continuity.
- Conduct regular recovery tests to verify backup integrity and recovery time objectives.
- Lead and support IT initiatives by coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholders to deliver functional solutions.
- Work with internal departments, site leadership, and corporate IT to achieve aligned outcomes.
- Engage in strategic IT planning, architecture decisions, and process enhancements focused on operational efficiency.
