OlamAid is seeking an IT Support professional for a 10-hour per week freelance engagement. In this role, you will help our mission-driven organization research, implement, and maintain critical software systems. Your work will directly support our team as we serve populations affected by crises and conflicts.
What You'll Do
- Research and select suitable software for project management, finance, and HR functions.
- Manage the setup, data migration, and integration of new software systems.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, particularly GDPR, and advise on best practices.
- Create rollout plans, conduct employee training, and provide ongoing user support.
- Participate in the development of IT policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support to employees for software and system issues.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in IT support, software recommendation, and implementation.
- Familiarity with project management, finance, and HR tools such as Asana, Trello, and QuickBooks.
- Thorough knowledge of GDPR and data protection compliance.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- A proactive, creative, and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in both German and English.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
- Certificates such as CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
