Octopus Legacy is hiring an IT Support

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily IT operations including user support, employee onboarding and offboarding, device oversight, account setup, and resolving technical issues across the organization.
  • Administer Google Workspace environment, managing user accounts, group settings, security configurations, shared drives, and organizational structure.
  • Oversee Apple devices using mobile device management tools, covering setup, configuration, software distribution, security enforcement, and lifecycle tracking for MacBooks and iOS devices.
  • Ensure security and compliance by implementing access controls, enforcing policies, collaborating with engineering on infrastructure protection, and maintaining audit readiness.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware procurement, software licensing, internet connectivity, and third-party service delivery.
  • Create and maintain accurate, current documentation for IT processes, system configurations, and emergency recovery procedures.
  • Improve IT efficiency through automation, using AI-powered tools and agent-based workflows to minimize manual tasks and support growth.
  • Support the development of self-service IT capabilities, empowering employees to independently resolve common issues using tools, guides, and automated systems.
  • Identify and implement modern technologies such as AI assistants, workflow automation, and scripting to simplify and optimize support processes.
