Eurofins Scientific is hiring an IT Solutions Engineer (Java)

We are looking for an experienced IT Solutions Engineer to join a major enterprise transformation programme within a highly regulated environment. This is a hands-on role combining solution architecture, software engineering expertise, and technical leadership. Working closely with the core product team in Dresden, Germany as well as business stakeholders, and distributed delivery teams across Europe and the UK, you will be responsible for designing, evolving, and modernising enterprise-scale platforms while ensuring high performance standards, scalability, and maintainability. Key Responsibilities - Define and drive solution architecture for enterprise applications - Lead technical design activities and support implementation across distributed teams - Contribute to the modernisation and evolution of complex legacy systems - Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and high performing - Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders - Support delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle - Promote engineering best practice and architectural standards across teams
