Responsibilities
- Support the planning, creation, and supervision of multiple active IT initiatives within a major federal organization.
- Engage in shaping project frameworks and help craft detailed project roadmaps.
- Evaluate resource availability and establish management strategies for new and continuing initiatives.
- Establish project boundaries and timelines with an emphasis on consistent, on-time value delivery.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular project update and team collaboration meetings.
- Create and distribute status updates and progress summaries.
- Oversee risk and issue management, address plan deviations, and manage delivery timelines for designated projects.
- Identify and drive efforts to enhance business processes and ensure ongoing monitoring.
- Lead teams in making strategic decisions related to system deployment, updates, and upkeep.
- Produce and maintain business process documentation for testing and training oversight.
- Establish and manage a clear project management methodology, promoting continuous improvement and agile best practices.
- Develop and execute a transformation strategy to transition from current to target agile state.
- Apply standard performance indicators to measure and review program effectiveness.
- Support the adoption and use of agile tools, standards, and metrics to standardize team execution.
- Track overall project cost, compliance, schedule adherence, and technical work quality.
- Generate and deliver technical analysis reports as required by the Agency for decision-making discussions.
