Milbank is hiring an IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of large-scale IT programs, including system deployments, digital transformation, and strategic technology projects
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and key outputs
  • Coordinate activities across multiple parallel workstreams and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Define and enforce program governance frameworks, progress reporting, and execution standards
  • Collaborate closely with senior IT leaders and the CIO on priority initiatives and strategic direction
  • Facilitate engagement between business units and IT teams across organizational boundaries
  • Prepare and present high-level status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings
  • Simplify technical concepts into accessible, actionable business language
  • Manage partnerships with third-party vendors, consultants, and external delivery teams
  • Ensure external contributions meet project goals, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines
  • Align internal and external resources to maintain accountability and drive results
  • Lead structured project execution, beginning with planning and requirements definition
  • Organize and lead collaborative working sessions and stakeholder workshops
  • Monitor and resolve project issues and risks proactively
  • Oversee delivery phases or evaluation efforts as required by the initiative
  • Maintain consistency across interrelated projects, ensuring alignment on dependencies and objectives
