About the Role
This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of internal IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring system security and efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network performance and reliability
- Deploy and manage endpoint devices across offices and remote locations
- Support internal teams with hardware and software troubleshooting
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Implement and enforce security protocols for IT systems
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
- Respond to IT service requests in a timely manner
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding employee technology needs
- Perform regular system updates and patches
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network access issues
- Support cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Document IT processes and configurations
- Ensure compliance with data protection standards
- Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Evaluate new technologies for operational improvements
- Coordinate hardware refresh cycles
- Provide after-hours support when necessary
- Train staff on secure and effective use of IT resources
- Work cross-functionally to align IT with business goals
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or ITIL Foundation
- Experience in SaaS or technology-driven organizations
- Knowledge of Jamf or other Apple management platforms
- Familiarity with networking hardware from Cisco or Meraki
- Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
