Quantiq is hiring an IT Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage, and enhance the performance of IT systems, including servers, networks, storage, and databases
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of systems, from setup and configuration to tracking, upkeep, and retirement
  • Collaborate with suppliers to acquire and implement new hardware components
  • Address technical issues and fulfill support requests from internal operations and engineering teams

Other

  • All hardware infrastructure runs exclusively on Fedora Linux
  • The environment includes 50 to 100 machines, from high-performance servers and datacenter equipment such as switches, FPGAs, and fiber optic networks, to workstations with dedicated GPUs and multiple displays
  • The full system must maintain high availability to ensure uninterrupted trading activities
  • The organization manages most layers of its technology stack, building, maintaining, updating, and monitoring a broad range of internal systems
