IT Infrastructure Manager – Media/Production ·To £85k + bonus + exceptional benefits and working conditions ·Media/production technology background preferred ·The role is responsible for the technical management of all IT infrastructure and desktop technology ·Hammersmith IT Infrastructure Manager - role overview: This management role will be working with a team of initially 7 direct reports across multiple time zones and will be responsible for shaping, planning and delivering our global infrastructure programme and creating specific strategic goals to develop and implement improvement. This role will not only be responsible for delivering infrastructure solutions, but will be responsible for coaching and developing the infrastructure team, managing stakeholder expectations and actively contributing to the implementation of ITIL good practice across the technology group. Key Duties: ·Work with senior stake holders and parallel departments to develop the infrastructure and desktop strategy ·Responsible for all IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualisation, desktop, database, print, media/file, directory services and messaging. ·Lead, motivate and manage and develop the infrastructure team ·Assist with developing, implementing and procurement of IT systems ·Keep up to date with desktop trends and see how the trends can improve the business ·Adhere to record keeping responsibilities ·Manage the technology budget carefully to ensure maximum return Requirements - Technical ·A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role ·Experience working in an ITIL based environment is essential ·Strong knowledge of all technology infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualisation, desktop, database, print, media/file, directory services and messaging with recognised technology certification expected. ·ITIL certification – foundation level minimum ·Strong ISO200000 knowledge ·Experience of setting KPIs and achieving and exceeding SLA’s Personal/Interpersonal ·Maintain a calm and professional manner at all times ·Be able to work under their own initiative and ability to delegate tasks to the team ·Strong communications – both verbal and written ·Logical thinker ·Be sensitive to cultural differences ·Able to work outside normal office hours when required ·Able to travel to other offices when required.
