Responsibilities
- Serve as a connector between cloud architects, regional and local IT units, and business stakeholders
- Assist application teams in updating software for cloud deployment and modern authentication methods
- Create and deploy cloud solutions on Azure and AKS platforms
- Oversee and enhance performance across multiple Kubernetes environments including AKS, EKS, and Rancher
- Establish and manage release pipelines using Terraform
- Partner with IT groups through consultation, training, and support to adopt new technical standards
- Support IT teams during major incident response efforts
- Engage with regional IT staff to gather needs and define standard operating procedures
- Set up application landing zones in Azure or AWS using Terraform and Azure DevOps frameworks
- Apply ITIL and DevOps principles to resolve technical challenges
- Diagnose and fix system and application issues
- Work with development teams to meet cloud infrastructure requirements
- Act as a technical escalation point for support and issue resolution
- Produce clear and thorough documentation to ensure reliable operations
- Coordinate with infrastructure, operations, architecture, application, and security teams
- Find ways to improve processes through automation and innovation by contributing Terraform code
