Responsibilities
- Lead and carry out the migration of applications from IBM WebSphere to JBoss platforms.
- Evaluate current WebSphere systems, design a migration approach, and ensure smooth transition to JBoss.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver technical guidance.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues arising during migration.
- Maintain documentation, offer training if needed, and ensure system reliability after migration.
Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written skills in both German and English are required.
- Proven experience in migrating applications from IBM WebSphere to JBoss.
- Strong proficiency in Linux environments, including shell scripting and system administration tasks.
- Solid knowledge of Java EE applications and their deployment on WebSphere and JBoss.
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
